The steers are enjoying the Oats Plus. You can barely see them! It came up good in some poor soil.

These are pics of my custom fall mixture of Cosaque winter oats, triticale, and austrian winter peas. I am so happy with this mixture! I have grazed it 7-8 times.

Prime 360 planted 3.5 weeks ago. We applied 60-0-60 10 days ago and then got 1.8” of rain. I love this stuff!

I turned heifers out into a pasture with sections of Tifleaf III and Prime 180. They finished the BMR millet before they moved to Tifleaf.

I wish I had a hundred acres to put Triticale Plus on; I would need no hay or other winter feed. Annuals have become an important component in extending nearly year round grazing for me. It also lets us keep our numbers up knowing we will have extra high quality grazing. The advantage is in quality of feed combined with cost as well as low labor, as compared to feeding hay or other stored feed.

That double play is the cat’s meow.

I like this Martin 2 so far. The cattle don't keep their hair coat like they used to. Calves are big—we have had a good season. I'm thinking about planting more Martin 2 Protek this fall.

The ground was recently cleared and fairly rough. The Martin 2 Protect has done well. Given the chance, I would plant it again.
