A large-seeded legume crop that is extremely palatable and has vining characteristics. Peas pair perfectly with small grains for winter grazing, haylage harvest, or as a heavy nitrogen production cover crop. Earlier in maturity and faster in growth than annual clovers. Best in well-drained soils.
- Early maturity provides nitrogen more quickly than most winter legumes
- Very palatable, high protein forage
- Pairs well with small grains due to veining characteristics
