KY-early Timothy

Timothy

Timothy is a very palatable grass and is well adapted to heavy soils. Timothy is a big spring producer, but it drops off in summer and fall. It's slow in fall and very early spring. Throughout the southeast, timothy has gained in popularity as a high quality annual hay. It makes a very marketable hay that is both visually attractive as well as high in nutritional value.

    Basho

Basho is a very aggressive, early maturing timothy. Basho adds palatability, spring growth, health and winter hardiness to the stand. With good persistence and earlier maturity, Basho works great for haying and is equally suited for pasture mixes and straight timothy hay stands.
