The fine stem and rapid growth of the sudangrass makes it most attractive as a grass cover crop. Typically 8-10" tall within 30 days with a stem no thicker than the diameter of a nickel. The dwarf characteristic keeps this grass from becoming unmanageable come planting time. Easy to terminate, quick carbon production. Can be mowed to maintain vegetative characteristics.
