Grasses
Summer annual grasses are high-yielding and have rapid growth during the hot, humid weather. Once established, most are extremely drought tolerant. Having acreage dedicated to warm-season annuals can prevent relying on cool-season perennials during the stressful summer and reduce that summer slump. Annuals are generally higher quality than their perennial counterparts. Excellent for following a spray-smother-spray protocol for field renovation.
